Fortinet has announced last May 21, 2015 that it’s patent portfolio has now expanded to over 210 issued and allowed patents worldwide, with an additional 165 pending patent applications. Each patent is related to a new and useful invention in cyber security that mirrors Fortinet’s innovation, thought-leadership, and dedication to protecting organizations globally from cyber threats. In addition to the awarded and pending patents, Fortinet expects to file approximately 100 additional patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) before the end of 2015.
